Labyrinth is an on-line procedural generator of 3D labyrinths, based on ontological knowledge of objects and their relationships, which allows users to enjoy the ludic and cultural experience, never the same, session after session.
Through the metaphor of the labyrinth, immersed in a mysterious environment, you can start from a square that contains a piece of art to find the fastest route through thematic analogies until you find the "square" that contains the artwork indicated as a goal.
The research project "LABYRINTH - Archetipi culturali per l'industria editoriale" is co-financed by the program "Poli Innovazione, POR-FESR 2007-2013 Regione Piemonte" and was created by the "Interaction Models" research groupof Dipartimento di Informatica, Università di Torino, in collaboration with Neos Edizioni and Show.it
NoReal oversaw the design of the interface, has realized the 3D environments and the software development based on Unity 3D, in collaboration with Fabio Daddario.
